As Brand Ambassadors of our exquisite hotel, our Porters play a crucial role in the delivery of our Emporium Service Promise of Exquisite Stays. 

Reporting to the Chief Concierge, your key responsibilities include:

• The provision of exquisite service to all guests;
• Welcome of all guests with a focus on coordination of vehicles, handling luggage (delivery to rooms and storage) and assisting guests with enquiries and requests;
• Valet parking a variety of vehicles (Note: an unrestricted open manual licence is a mandatory requirement of this role);
• Offering informed advice of both hotel and local Southbank/Brisbane area;
• Meeting guests & Emporium Southpoint Apartment Occupant’s needs with an 'above and beyond' approach to every request.

To achieve success, you will possess:

• A passion for guest service and the professionalism required to work in a five-star hotel environment;
• Pride in personal presentation;
• Availability to work over a 7-day roster, including nights and weekends;
• Strong communication skills;
• The ability to think on your feet and a solution focused approach to any situation;
• A willingness to deliver exquisite stays for our guests, every time, every shift!
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
