JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently recruiting a part-time Commis Breakfast Chef.

About Us

The Brisbane Airport Hotels Group encompasses the Pullman, Novotel and ibis Brisbane Airport Hotels, as well as the Brisbane Airport Conference Centre. With 532 guest rooms, 3 restaurants, Rooftop Event Space, Executive Lounge, and 17 meeting spaces. Located at the Brisbane Airport precinct.
 

About the role

  • Provide courteous, efficient and professional service to exceed guest expectations.
  • Perform tasks within a timely manner.
  • Ensure consistent great food production, in line with the high quality standards.
  • Maintain standards of all health and hygiene requirements. 
  • Liaise with the Kitchen on special requests or delayed meals.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

About You

  • Food Safety Certificate is essential. 
  • Excellence in customer service 
  • A can-do attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability & flexibility to work across a 7-day working environment, shifts start from 4:30am onwards, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Excellent technical knowledge with experience in a variety of cooking techniques and styles.
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety principals
