The Gertrude Hotel on Fitzroy’s iconic Gertrude Street is back open & bustling, We’re looking for experienced and talented FOH and Bar professionals to join our dream team.

• open 7 nights plus 4 lunches per week

• prime Gertrude Street location close to the CBD and easy access to parking and multiple tram and bus routes on our doorstep

ABOUT YOU:

• a passion for food, people, and hospitality

• a strong knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktails

• experienced in front of house and/or bar, with a talent for creating memorable and welcoming experiences for all guests

• enjoy working as part of a focused (and fun) team

• have excellent communication and organisational skills

• a desire to continue learning and growing in hospitality

THE ROLE:

• flexible 7-day roster with a mixture of day and night shifts available

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

• Demonstrated experience as a Bartender in a high volume, fast-paced environment
• Must have cocktail and spirit knowledge
• Wine knowledge 
• Passion for delivering outstanding service
• Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude
• Outgoing personality
• Excellent attention to detail
• Exceptional presentation 
• Must be able and willing to work weekends & late nights.
• Must have RSA certificate
