JOB DESCRIPTION

The Redcliffe Tavern is on the hunt for Chefs to join the kitchen team.

A moment’s walk from the ocean and Bee Gee’s Way, the Redcliffe Tavern is a fun and friendly pub with modern facilities and good old fashioned service. One amazing thing about this role is the 4 DAY WORK WEEK! Thats right 3 days off every week on a full time wage!

Our family Bistro is open 7 days a week, for lunch and dinner.  With great food and friendly staff, it’s the perfect choice for any meal occasion, be it, a family dinner, a catch up with friends, or a cosy romantic dinner for two.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

What we need 

  • Has a passion for the industry and are committed to a successful career in hospitality 
  • Projects a friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude at all times 
  • Enjoys working with others in a team environment, and can take direction from the Sous and Head Chef 
  • Possess a creative flair and has superb presentation skills

What you will bring to the table

  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a Chef  
  • Control stock, order, and checking of deliveries 
  • Provide high quality meals in a fast paced environment  
  • Strong compliance focus
  • A commitment to achieving outstanding sales results
  • Exceptional customer service standards
  • Ability to engage with the local community
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Well-rounded experience within the bar/pub industry
  • Strong problem-solving skills
