About Al Aseel
Al Aseel is 22 years young, developed upon our love for food, service, family, sharing and fun.


The Al Aseel group continues to evolve and grow, with six Al Aseel restaurants Sydney-wide. In conjunction with this,
a catering kitchen in Greenacre with an incredible catering offering for corporate and private events- servicing clients
in the retail, airline and government industries.


We are pleased to announce the opening of a new venue in Parramatta. We will be bringing our culture, unwavering
passion, commitment to excellence, and pioneering spirit that have made Al Aseel one of the fastest-growing Middle
Eastern food groups in Australia.
 

The Role
We are looking for back-of-house staff of all levels within the kitchen who feel confident in their techniques and have an
understanding kitchen systems and, above all, having a passion for service and the restaurant industry.
Your key duties and responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes within your section
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of adhering to NSW regulations concerning health, safety, or
    other compliance requirements & an understanding of HACCP management
  • Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
  • Monitoring portion and waste control

Who Are you?

  • A minimum of 3 years of cooking experience
  • High-level prioritisation, organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong internal and external customer focus
  • Ability to cope with changing work demands and a fast-changing environment

These are full-time, salaried positions paying:

  • Commis Chef: $52,000-$55,000
  • Demi Chef: $55,000-$60,000
  • Chef De Partie: $60,000 - $70,000 plus superannuation
  • Sous Chef: $70,000- $80,000 plus superannuation

We are looking for reliable and motivated Chefs to join our team with a background showing previous culinary experience.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in a similar positions
  • Possess a strong work ethic and have excellent communication skills
  • Can produce consistent quality
  • Have a positive and ‘can do’ attitude
  • Have a keen eye with high attention to detail
  • Would like to assist with menu planning and suggestions
  • Enjoy the benefits of expanding your experience and knowledge
  • Ability to work under pressure

Final remuneration based on previous experience.
