In the Historic Tourist Town of Queenstown in the heart of the West Coast, lies the Jewel in the Crown. The Empire Hotel.
We are after an experienced Cook with knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.).
This role involves a rotating split shift roster, available to work week days and weekends, with the obligatory two days off per 7 day roster.
Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.
Responsible for preparing, cooking and assembling dishes, working with speed and precision, and all without compromising quality and safety, is our kitchen motto. Other duties include cleaning and restocking, keeping a sanitised and orderly environment, monitoring quality of ingredients, and ensuring all food and other items are stocked correctly according to health and hygiene standards.
Must have a positive attitude and be able to communicate clearly, as well as follow directions of management.
