About Us

The Brisbane Airport Hotels Group encompasses the Pullman, Novotel and ibis Brisbane Airport Hotels, as well as the Brisbane Airport Conference Centre. With 532 guest rooms, 3 restaurants, Rooftop Event Space, Executive Lounge, and 17 meeting spaces. Located at the Brisbane Airport precinct.
 

About the role

  • Provide courteous, efficient and professional service to exceed guest expectations.
  • Perform tasks within a timely manner.
  • Ensure consistent great food production, in line with the high quality standards.
  • Maintaining and enforcing standards of all health and hygiene requirements. 
  • Liaise with the Kitchen on special requests or delayed meals.
  • planning menus and ordering food supplies
  • monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
  • discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
  • demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
  • preparing and cooking food 

About You

  • Food Safety Certificate is essential. 
  • The ability & flexibility to work across a 7-day working environment, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Excellent technical knowledge with experience in a variety of cooking techniques and styles.
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety principals
