JOB DESCRIPTION

With the exciting relaunch of the new and refurbished Anchor Buoy Café in January 2023, we are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to play a pivotal role in the delivery of outstanding food and beverage experiences.

Working closely with and supporting the senior Kitchen team, the Chef de Partie will:

  • Assist in menu planning & development 
  • Ensure food and menu quality is at its highest and meets set standards
  • Assist in the reduction of food waste by following portion control standards
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the kitchen at all times

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

YOUR BACKGROUND

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
  • A passion for food & ability to work independently  
  • A team player attitude, displayed in both internal kitchen teams and the greater business
  • A high standard of personal presentation and standard of hygiene
  • Enthusiasm, commitment, and seeking the opportunity to learn and develop professionally

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be available to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.

Own transport is essential.
