We are seeking a reliable cook/chef to join out team at The Coffee Club Silverdale
Responsibilities:
Directing the food preparation
Preparation and cooking of all cuisines as list in the menu
Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
Demonstrate cooking techniques and advising on cooking procedures
Be responsible for driving service standards to ensure customer expectations are exceeded
Discuss food preparation issues and providing training to the other team member
Ensure food cost is kept to budget
Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.
Skills and experience required:
hot line experience. Minimum of 2 years.
Preparing high-quality dishes in a timely manner, daily baking and prepare cabinet food
at least level 5 qualified in professional cookery
Assist in driving service standards to ensure customer expectations are exceeded
The proven ability to work well with others and under pressure in a busy environment
A good command of the English language
Be legally able to work in New Zealand
Interview required
Induction/onboarding required prior to starting role
