JOB DESCRIPTION

Mabu Mabu has expanded and grown and are currently on the hunt for some fresh faces to join our mob for some new opportunities in a space where there is room to grow! This is an exciting to join a rapidly growing company and can provide incentives and career opportunity to the right canditate.

We are Torres Strait Islander owned and women-led venue championing native ingredients. We believe everyone that works with us has a part to play in helping us achieve our mission to put native ingredients in kitchens across Australia.

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

  • 1+ years of proven experience as chef
  • Taking responsibility for the food production with a hands-on approach
  • Building positive relationships with staff
  • Adhering to all relevant health and safety & food safety standards
  • Identify, develop and maintain establishment policies and procedures
  • Monitor food stock and place orders
  • Cooking and preparing hig quality dishes
  • Experience in a high volume kitchen teams is necessary
