Located at Mortlake, Palace Hotel is offering a part time or casual position up to 38 hours.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Hotel Venue Manager to join our team. As the Hotel Venue Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel venue, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all aspects of the hotel venue, including staffing, inventory, budgets, and customer service
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing guidance and support when necessary
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
• Handle and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
• Create and manage event calendars, ensuring that all events are organized and executed smoothly

• Proven experience in hotel management or a related field
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient in MS Office and hotel management software
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
