About the Opportunity: 
Chin Chin Sydney are looking for Sommelier/ Wine Waiters to assist with providing exceptional wine experience in a fun and high-energy work environment.

Set over 1,000 sqm, the venue feeds in excess of 8,000 people weekly. RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Bar Manager
Food & Beverage Manager
Sommelier
Bar Supervisor
Waitstaff (Fine Dining)

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

  • Experience as Wine Waiter, Junior Sommelier or Sommelier 
  • Experience fast-paced, high turnover restaurant advantageous
  • Passion for wine and the industry
  • Basic knowledge in local, national and international wine
  • Exceptional service skills
  • Excellent communication and organisation
  • Outgoing personality and genuine interest in the day to day operations
  • Adaptable, flexible and able to work in a high pressure environment
  • Possess a valid Certificate of Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • WSET or CMS qualification or equivalent advantageous
  • Available to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
  • Must have full Australian work rights
