What You’ll Be Doing

• Reporting to the Bar Supervisor and Venue Manager.
• Greeting customers with a welcoming attitute and friendly conversation.
• Serving drinks with speed and accuracy.
• Engaging with customers to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
• Pouring beers and basics as well as preparing cocktails and handling general bar service.
• Operating POS systems and handling cash and EFTPOS transactions.
• Setup and pack down of the bar.
• Maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the bar is stocked and ready for service.
• Supporting the setup and pack-down of events, including live music, trivia nights, and student functions.
• Following RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) guidelines and ensuring compliance with licensing laws.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential.
• A willingness to learn.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• A positive attitude, great communication skills, and a team-centred mindset.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends when required.
• RSA certification (required) – must have or be willing to obtain before starting.
