The casual bar staff team are responsible for delivering consistently high standards of service in welcoming and serving all visitors to Hoppers Brewing Co/Wicked Spirits. Successful applicants must have excellent customer service as well as a high level of beverage service skill and sound knowledge of RSA.

They are committed to help grow the bar and growth of  Hoppers Brewing Co/ Wicked Spirits as a craft beverage destination. The position works flexibly across bar service, with a particular focus on customer service, product knowledge, as well as a strong love of the craft beer/spirits industry.

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following:

Required:
• Experience in frontline customer service including proven ability to address and resolve customer issues.
• Demonstrated skills in the use of POS system and responsible cash handling.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with a variety of groups of people in a busy public setting.
• Current certificate in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).
• Strong knowledge on wine, beer, spirits, and simple cocktail recipes.
• Ability to adapt to the needs of constantly changing environment and clientele.
• Can work flexibly and able to commit to nights and weekend work.

Desirable
• Local product knowledge of Queensland/Australian wine, beer and spirits.
• At least one year of relatable experience in bars, restaurants, pubs and/or clubs.
• Interest in helping build, develop, and grow a new bar and venue.
