Hotel Indigo Brisbane is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Superstar to lead and support the team in bringing a unique guest experience to life! With brand new F&B outlets recently opened at Hotel Indigo, this is a great opportunity to be part of a fresh and motivated team. 

Sound business acumen and a passion for everything hospitality is essential for this role. You will be a hands-on leader (or future leader), skilled in the job role and ready for an exciting challenge to deliver this amazing brand and guest experience to Brisbane. The Food & Beverage Team Leader will take responsibility for the daily F&B service periods, compliance, quality, and drive superior business performance, including the satisfaction for both our guests and team. Ensuring brand, company standards and local government regulations are adhered to.

REQUIREMENTS

Position Requirements:

  • Food and Beverage Superstar wanting to progress their career.
  • You are super-organised, a forward-thinking type person: scheduling, activity planning and task delegation are critical to our success – this is the first time we’ve had a role like this, so you're setting the benchmark!
  • Assist with Developing and delivering SOP’s SOS and memorable guest experiences requirements.
  • Being part of and taking the lead when required in hotel emergency procedures, together with assisting in ensuring the hotel complies with local government regulations concerning Food Safety, and any other regulatory requirements.
  • You'll be dealing with a variety of people, so your communication will need to adapt to the situation. You'll be a brilliant communicator - consistently clear and concise.
  • You'll help us problem solve, as we're still building our business, we have solutions to find – your logical thinking and collaboration with teams across the business will be key.
  • You’ll support and lead your team from the ground with your inspiring and hands-on attitude.

You will possess:

  • Ability to manage a variety of key stakeholder relationships.
  • Has a focus on growing and developing a team of passionate Service hosts.
  • Ideally, you should have at least 1 years' previous experience within a high-volume, contemporary service offering. 
  • Ability to manage and lead this business as though it is their own.
  • Experience in opening a hotel or large venue and knowledge of other languages is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable strong F&B background with operational experience in MICE. Previous experience in multi-outlet venues.
  • Experience in hotel operations from In-room dining, meetings & events and breakfast service across two properties is an advantage.
  • Technology and system savvy, experience of MS Office, knowledge of Hotel Management software (PMS) will be advantageous.
  • Professional and personable, with excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
  • You're pre-equipped with sound decision making and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure.
  • You'll will be required to hold or obtain a First Aid and Food safety Supervisor certificates.
  • RSA desired and Approved Manager RMLV Licence is highly regarded.
  • Must have the appropriate legal requirements to work in Australia.
