The Role

We have an exciting new opportunity at The Tamarind. As our Breakfast Chef, you will be an integral part of delivering our dining experience to our guests, whether it be for a conference, leisure group or for our dining offering.

Here's what you'll do

  • Deliver our in-house dining menu inspired by local ingredients, prepared utilising creative preparation techniques.
  • Curating an unforgettable and personalised experience for our guests from start to finish.
  • Daily food preparation and dinner service.

Commis Chef

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

This is how you’ll know you’re right for this role

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a a la carte environment;
  • Understanding of food standards; 
  • Industry knowledge of food health & safety; 
  • Ability to understand & deliver on our guests expectations.
  • Team player with strong communication skills;
  • Ability to multitask with a high attention to detail
