JOB DESCRIPTION

Corkers Cellars is and established Bottle Shop in the heart of Sanctuary Cove village offering an extensive range of premium and international products. The store also complements the operations of both the Cove Tavern and Sanctuary Cove Marina. Corkers Cellars offers an exceptional work environment with a focus on community and supplier relationships, product knowledge & collaboration with the local community.

THE ROLE

We have an exceptional opportunity for a passionate wine and liquor enthusiast. Reporting to the Store Manager and Senior Management Team, your role will involve all of the bottle shop essentials including customer service, cash handling, assisting running tastings, stocking shelves and creating an incredible experience for our patrons.

Working with our rockstar team at The Cove, you will have access to incredible training and mentoring and you will love the incredible culture - If you love everything beverage and want to learn, this is the role for you!

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • A good attitude, great communication skills and passion for hospitality and customer service
  • Previous experience working with wine as either a wine store assistant or a background in beverage retail would be ideal
  • A willingness to learn new systems and procedures and a current RSA
  • Experience managing inventory and stocktake processes
  • This role requires lifting involved and the ability to work weekends and nights (no later than 9pm)

Own transport is essential.
