JOB DESCRIPTION

Set across three impressive levels, with sparkling water views, Barangaroo House is home to three unique offerings Rekodo Restaurant and Listening Bar, House Bar and Smoke.

House Bar is on the ground floor and is a high volume, fast paced and fun ground floor offering, perfect for our patrons to enjoy a sneaky-work-lunch or a shared something, where they can kick-back with Japanese-inspired pub classics and rays for days.

Rekodo occupies the first floor. A nod to Japanese listening rooms, Rekōdo blurs the line between food, drink and music to create an immersive restaurant and music experience, the menu is grounded by flavours of Japan, with scope to explore wider Asian influences.

On the rooftop is Smoke, our premium cocktail bar boasting front row views of the harbour, where our guests can enjoy premium snacks and shares whilst sipping fun, playful and theatrical cocktails set to impress on balmy afternoons or star lit nights.

REQUIREMENTS

The Role 

We are on the hunt for an experienced Beverage Manager with extensive bar, creative beverage and operational experience to drive Barangaroo's beverage program.
  
The role will involve all of the venue essentials including the day to day running of the shift, opening and closing the venue, creating seasonal cocktail lists, stocktake & ordering across three levels, training and developing the team, hiring staff, rostering and driving guest experience. 

Your creativity and passion for mixology will be ignited here and will allow you to get hands on with regular Batching, Drafting, Garnish preparation and more!

Ideal candidates will have previous experience managing high volume Bar operations with a procurement focus, as well as experience creating seasonal cocktail lists.
