Alcatraz Sydney is a new, multifaceted venue opening in the inner west. Primarily serving as a bespoke cocktail and Tapas bar, Alcatraz also doubles down as a live music venue and hub for everything culture, all within a heritage, industrial building and premium fit-out. Alcatraz is seeking a rockstar Bartender for our soft launch event Saturday April 1. This event is a media/industry party and is very important we host well presented, friendly and personable staff to best reflect the Alcatraz experience. 

Tasks & responsibilities

• Preperation and serving of our cocktail specials and classics 
• Bar service for 120pax
• Placing orders using lightspeed POS 
• Serving our bespoke collection of Spanish and Australian wines  

About you

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and ability to apply themselves to any task presented
• Passionate about customer service and consistency in great product 
• Well presented, friendly and personable 
• Excellent time management skills
• Experience with cocktail making 
• Sound knowledge of craft beer and wines

As this is a last minute request for a rockstar shift, we are available all day today and tomorrow for paid briefing and training for Saturday night service, as we would also love to meet you and hear about your story prior to Saturday! 

Experience:

• 2+ years in cocktail making 
• 2+ years in hospitality 
• MUST have RSA 

Dress Code

• Black clothes (smart casual i.e. pants and top) 
• Comfortable shoes (must be very clean)
• Well groomed
