We are seeking a bartender with cocktail experience for approximately 30 hours per week.  We are an Iconic Mexican restaurant in St Kilda, famous for its perfect Margaritas, friendly casual atmosphere, great staff and delicious food.

The applicant should know classic cocktails and have a good general knowledge of beverage.  We are a very high volume bar so the applicant also needs to be able to work well in a team and under pressure.

Our workplace has a very positive, inclusive culture and we have thrived in 2022 despite the challenges of the last few years.  We are now firmly established as a neighbourhood favourite and feel very confident going into the future and being able to provide secure employment for our team.

We are proud to have supported our very team throughout the covid pandemic and have had retained the majority of the team.  We like to think that our ability to maintain great staff reflects upon the positive culture of Radio Mexico and as a result are seeking just thre right person to join our team.

During winter we will be interviewing and trialling such that a new Bartender can commence in mid July.  Whilst we are seeking someone with a level of flexibility during the cold months, once September roles around a very firm roster with 2-3 days off in a row will be able to be locked in until May 2023.  If you are able and willing to do a waiter role on occassion, we will be able to increase the amount of hours you do.

- Ability to work weekends (but we are flexible when time off is required)

- Desire and ability to produce high quality and consistent product

- Tequila and Mezcal experience an advantage but not essential
