Archer Brewing is chasing a weekend warrior - with more hours available as we approach christmas party season. At the moment we're looking to fill Friday, Saturday and Sunday shifts.
Archer Brewing is a really unique brewery based in Wilston in Brisbane. We're family owned and use 100% Australian ingredients. Our back bar is also all Australian. We pride ourselves on showcasing the best of Australia where we can which means we find some really cool products to sell, as well as put into our beers.
Craft beer knowledge isn't a must, but a keenness to learn is certainly. We also have a small cocktail menu, but again, experience isn't required, but would help.
We go out of our way to try and make your lives as our bartenders easier. The owners are ex-bartenders and believe work/life balance is really important and happily get stuck in when understaffed, so you'll never find yourself overworked and underpaid. We're open Wednesday to Sunday so even our busiest staff get two consecutive days off at all times. There's not super late nights as we close Friday and Saturday at midnight, with the other nights at 10.
We have staff nights out reguarly, and a decent knock off policy too.
A sense of humour is required and an ability to chat to all kinds of people, including our locals and regulars.

Brand new Brewery in Brisbane has just opened and looking for some experienced bartenders (preferably with craft beer experience knowledge but it's not essential) for an immeaditate start! We're a family owned brewery with a great new brewer from Melbourne and we opened our doors over the weekend for the first time and got absolutley smashed (in a good way). Looking for bartenders with experience. It's a really unique space with a really good team already and we want to add to that. Some things about the Newmarket spot: Unique building with a brand new fit out Dog friendly Lots of love from the local area Aussie ingredient focused (including all our spirits and cocktails) A chance to flex your creativity Room to grow and progress within the company as it grows A modern pay scale Great team atomsphere We're not all beer, we do wine, spirits and cocktails. Roster rotation for open and close shifts (you won't get stucking closing every night) We haven't finalised any supervisors or assistant manager type roles, so that is all available for the right people. Let's go - we're already busy!
