We are a busy cafe seeking a competent and experienced Barista to join our team. Applicants preferably will have worked in a fast-paced café/restaurant environment (approx 2 years prior experience) and can handle large volumes at a time whilst maintaining consistency (Dialing in know-how is a must)

The ideal candidate will be availble to work a mix of Weekdays / Weekends, open to close - however your nights stay free! 

The position will start out on a casual basis and can progress into FT if desired, in return we offer career progression with competitive remuneration, ample local parking and close proximity to Ashburton station.

The successful applicant must be:

• Experience in a busy, high volume cafe is essential
• Fast on the machine, yet not willing to compromise on quality.
• Must be confident
• Strong communicator
• Work as part of a team
• Knowledge of dialling in recipes
• Adjusting the brewing parameters
• Working with volumetrics are desirable as we are a very busy environment.

In addition to working behind the coffee machine you will be involved in all general cafe work including food handling, table/counter service, cash/eftpos handling, & maintaining cleanliness standards of equipment 

Applicants must be flexible and be available to work a variety of day and weekend shifts (NO NIGHTS!)
