We are a busy cafe seeking a competent and experienced Barista to join our team. Applicants preferably have worked in a fast-paced café/restaurant environment.

1) Greet customer, take their orders and use excellent time management and organizational skills to prepare and serve hot and cold drinks.

2) Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers.

3) Great communication, customer service skills and knowledge

4) Positive and approachable manner and friendly personality

5) Adaptable to change and willing to embrace new ideas and processes

6) Stock and refill inventory such as coffee cups, straws and napkins

7) Address and resolve customer issues in a polite and effective manner

• You will need to love hospitality, working in a great team and serving the public
• You must be able to demonstrate a bright, bubbly, friendly personality and have a natural aptitude for providing the highest level of customer service
• You will have an eye for detail, excellent personal presentation, a committed work ethic and a professional and confident communication style
• In addition to working behind the coffee machine you will be involved in all general cafe work including food handling, table/counter service, cash/eftpos handling, & maintaining cleanliness standards
• Applicants must be flexible and be available to work a variety of day and weekend shifts
