We are searching for experienced cocktail bartenders to join our young, vibrant and energetic team ASAP!

The Distiller Melbourne, is a brand new micro distillery and cocktail bar run by Top Shelf International, the makers of Grainshaker vodka and NED whisky on High street in Northcote. We're looking for someone with cocktail knowledge and a passion for spirits, plus a can do attitude! You will be working alongside our distilling crew, events team and broader brand department to help grow this new venue.

This is a casual role working the bar and the floor to ensure high quality drinks and high quality customer service to our patrons.  The role also includes some event work, on and off location, some production assistance where needed, and general support and keeping the venues in great operating state. The team work closely with the production and distillation team to build the connection between the hospitality experience, amazing products, and awesome bespoke experiences for guests! Our quest is to create the “perfect” experience that is reflective of Top Shelf and our brands personalities.

Responsibilities include: 

• Bar service including cash handling, mixed drinks and cocktails, customer service, spirit knowledge.
• Day-to-day customer service of the bar, ensuring that all guests have the best possible experience.
• Assisting with delivery of cocktail classes, distillation events, spirit tastings and education.
• Providing product and customer experience feedback to the wider team.
• Ensuring consistent guest satisfaction and promotion of our brands through great customer service levels
• Assisting with the day-to-day table booking management
• Assisting with the function and event execution
• Ensuring OH&S requirements are always adhered to
• Ensuring good judgement and a responsible attitude towards the service of alcohol is always adhered to across the team
• Assisting and training to assist with the distillation and production team
• Growing within the TSI family to extend your career in the craft spirits industry

This is casual role, including weekends, evenings, and public holiday times.
