Role Overview 

We are seeking Bar Attendants and Food and Beverage Attendants to deliver exceptional customer service and efficient operation of the bar areas across our Eagle Farm and Doomben locations. The Bar and F&B Attendants play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving beverages responsibly, and contributing to the overall success of Brisbane Racing Club’s beverage service. 

This role will support our major race days on Saturday 12 October, 19 October, 26 October, 2 November and finishing up the racing season on Tuesday 5 November with Melbourne Cup Day. We are looking for availability across these days and there may be an opportunity to support regular season races throughout the year.  

Key Responsibilities

Depending on whether you're a Bar Attendant or an F&B Attendant, your responsibilities may include:

  • Take orders, prepare and serve beverages in a prompt and friendly manner following RSA guidelines. 

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction and resolving any issues promptly. 

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area. 

  • Ensure tables are set up and cleaned according to the Brisbane Racing Club’s standards.  

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience. 

  • Efficiently manage and relay orders to the kitchen or bar, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages. 

  • Adhere to RSA and health and safety regulations. 


RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Bartender
Food & Beverage Attendant

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications 

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate. 

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the Hospitality industry; Restaurant, Events or Cocktail experience preferred. 

  • Proven experience in delivering exceptional customer service. 

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to follow directions. 

  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.  

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Barista experience considered an asset.  

  • Candidates must have the legal right to work in Australia without requiring sponsorship.
