JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Marrickville Golf Club needs a bar person to cover a shift tonight and two or three next week because of staff unavailability. Will be working with an experienced staff member/supervisor but must be experienced enough to cope with moderately busy trade.

There will also be ongoing work for a good worker because we have just reopened our Club bistro after renovations and its already attracting lots of bookings.

Today we need someone from 3pm to 9pm or so.  Friday night is Taco & Margarita night and the vibe will be fun and relaxed.

Next week I have shifts on Friday and Saturday. Saturday we have 3 bands playing on the golf course as part of our 'Orion's Big Backyard' music series, which always has good vibes.

The Club is an informal family friendly environment with a modern bistro and does not trade after midnight (last drinks generally by 10pm) so no late finishes. The Club trades 7 days a week and day and night shifts are available. Wages are at Clubs Award rates.

Dress requirements: black pants & casual bar appropriate t-shirt (eg. band shirt or independent brewery)

 

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Bartender

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.

REQUIREMENTS

RCG and familiarity with Keno and Poker Machines an advantage but not required.
