Ready to take your career to new heights? We are seeking an experienced Assistant Venue Manager with exposure in Japanese establishments to join our leadership team in Ardo’s Japanese restaurant; Terasu. 

The Role

As an Assistant Venue Manager, you will assist the Venue Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of Terasu; Ardo’s Japanese restaurant, ensuring excellent service delivery and guest satisfaction.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality, Retail, Business, or related field (desirable)
  • Previous experience at a managerial level in a Japanese establishment 
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Statement of Attainment 
  • Current Responsible Management of Licenced Venues Certificate and Approved Manager’s Licence
  • Previous experience responding to and resolving disputes relating to the Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • Demonstrated understanding of restaurant, barista and/or bar practices
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer and wines
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers and guests 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure. 
  • Professional presentation and exceptional communication skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, nights and public holidays
  • Team player and hands on with the flexibility to help out and support your colleagues
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
