Assistant Venue Manager - Patonga

About the role

We are looking for a Full Time Assistant Venue Manager to join our team at The Boathouse Patonga. The AVM is responsible for supporting the Venue Manager with people management and daily operations of Patonga. In this role you will:

  • Deliver and ensure others deliver exceptional customer service to guests in accordance with our standards;
  • Assist the Venue Manager with people management practices including recruitment, onboarding, training and development;
  • Lead the team in a positive and effective manner to ensure productivity, motivation and teamwork are always maintained at a high standard;
  • Monitor and exercise budgetary control over the efficiency of staff labour and food & beverage operations to support the financial growth of business.

Operations Manager

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

About you

To be the perfect addition to The Boathouse Group, you will have 5 years prior experience in a comparable role within a hospitality business where you’ve used your good time management and organisational skills and shown excellent leadership. You’ll also:

  • Be highly professional and customer oriented;
  • Have people management skills which are developing;
  • Be confident, calm and approachable;
  • Be motivated to continue growing and developing your career with an excellent business;
  • Hold a valid RSA and First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain.
