JOB DESCRIPTION

Due to internal progression we are seeking a vibrant, passionate professional Assistant Venue Manager, delivering exceptional experiences to join our team. The successful candidate must have proven hospitality management experience in a comparable venue, and exceptional customer service and presentation skills. 

Hope Island Tavern has some exciting new things happening in 2023 and we are looking for our next super star manager to assist our Venue Manager in the daily operations of running the venue. Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Essential requirements:

  • Capacity to work in a team environment while leading from the front
  • Experience in developing and executing operational procedures
  • Extensive restaurant & bar experienced
  • Strong experience working in a gaming venue 
  • Knowledge of TAB and wagering 
  • Ability to training and development staff to ensure a consistently amazing customer experience 
  • Ensuring policies, procedures and standards are current, effective and clearly communicated 
  • Current RSA, RSG, RMLV & Approved Managers license 
  • CLO - Desirable not necessary 
  • Desire to expand your skillset under the Venue Manager
  • Strong financial skills
