JOB DESCRIPTION

Ronnie's is looking for an experienced, dedicated, reliable and motivated assistant restaurant manager to join the family, with solid skills behind the bar and the ability to handle high volume service on the floor. Reporting to the restaurant manager, you'll be supported by teams across culinary, marketing and operations to ensure your success.

Located in the heart of the CBD, Ronnie's is a nostalgic Italian restaurant open for both lunch and dinner. The convenient location is close to all public transportation, including multiple tram lines and is just blocks from Southern Cross Station.

As part of the InterContinental Melbourne hotel, this role offers flexible working hours, paid birthday leave, and perks and discounts at major retailers and hotels worldwide.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

What we need from you:

  • A love and passion for all things food and beverage, with a special passion for delivering great guest experiences and training, developing and growing the team to their fullest potential (yourself included).
  • You must have the flexibility to work various shifts on a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays. You must also meet the legal requirements to work in this country.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
  • Safe Food Handling certification
  • Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.
  • Leadership Skills
