Opportunities

We are seeking passionate and people-focused Assistant Restaurant Managers to join our growing teams. As a key member of the management team, you will support the Restaurant Manager in planning, organising, and coordinating staff and resources to ensure a seamless and profitable operation. Previous experience as a Duty Manager or Restaurant Supervisor is essential for the Assistant Restaurant Manager role. We are also excited to offer opportunities for talented individuals seeking positions as Duty Managers or Restaurant Supervisors within our team.

REQUIREMENTS

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare for service periods, ensuring staff levels match anticipated business needs.
  • Oversee table allocations, stock levels, and mise en place readiness before service.
  • Maintain high standards of service, providing hands-on support during peak periods.
  • Manage VIP arrivals and ensure exceptional service for distinguished guests.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns, upholding our commitment to excellence.
  • Prepare staff rosters, considering operational demands and planned absences.
  • Coach, motivate, and monitor team performance, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Collaborate with chefs and bar teams to enhance menu offerings and staff training.
  • Support sales and marketing efforts with in-venue activations and promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with quality management, hygiene, and safety policies.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant or bar environment.
  • A current QLD RSA
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Experience with POS systems and rostering software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A customer-focused mindset with the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
