JOB DESCRIPTION

Key responsibilities - 

  • Assist in food preparation and cooking under chef supervision
  • Learns and master culinary techniques, knife skills and various cooking methods
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work space
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create and plate dishes
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist in the delivery of ingredients and supplies
  • Take direction and learn from our skilled chefs and culinary professionals

 

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Apprentice Chef
Cook

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications -

  • Passion for cooking and a strong desire to pursue a carer as a chef
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus but will be trained on
    site.
