JOB DESCRIPTION

Fun busy café is after FOH and barista superstars to join our incredible team! We are after people who can make the best coffee and wow the customers with your amazing customer service. Consistency is key!

Also looking for a team leader who is dedicated with helping people reach their full potential and oversee daily operations. There is potential for a management position to the right person.  Any supervisor/Management experience will be highly regarded. 

Beautiful location on the creek

Up to 38 hours available for the right applicant

All-rounder
Barista
Food & Beverage Supervisor
Waitstaff

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.

REQUIREMENTS

  • You will need to love hospitality, working in a great team and serving the public
  • You must be able to demonstrate a bright, bubbly, friendly personality and have a natural aptitude for providing the highest level of customer service
  • You will have an eye for detail, excellent personal presentation, a committed work ethic and a professional and confident communication style
  • In addition to working behind the coffee machine you will be involved in all general cafe work including food handling, table/counter service, cash/eftpos handling, & maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Applicants must be flexible and be available to work a variety of day and weekend shifts

Enjoy Newstead’s finest sweets, coffees, bread, pies, salads, and sandwiches from the patisserie on the deck chairs by the water, or make a booking to enjoy a delicious breakfast and a cocktail in our brasserie. A number of our baked items are also available to preorder online and collect in-store.
