JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Customer Service – Greeting customers, taking orders, and providing friendly, efficient service.
  • Preparing Beverages & Food – Making coffee, tea, and other beverages; assisting with food prep and serving dishes.
  • Cash Handling – Processing payments accurately, handling cash, and balancing the register.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness – Keeping the café area clean and organized, including tables, counters, and equipment.
  • Assisting with Stock – Restocking supplies, monitoring inventory, and alerting management when supplies run low.
  • Team Support – Assisting team members with tasks as needed and helping maintain a smooth workflow.

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience – Prior experience in a café or similar setting is often preferred but not always essential.
  • Customer Service Skills – Friendly and helpful attitude, with strong communication skills.
  • Barista Skills – Basic coffee-making skills or willingness to learn is often valued.
  • Attention to Detail – Ensuring accuracy in orders and presentation.
  • Time Management – Ability to multitask and work efficiently, especially during busy hours.
  • Physical Stamina – Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Food Safety Knowledge – Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety standards.
