DUTY MANAGER - COME LEAD WITH US AT ABERCROMBIE

On ground floor is the Abercrombie’s incredible performance and club space, public bar, and beer garden. The best party crews in Sydney, including House of Mince, Sweat it Out, Future Classic, Purple Sneakers, and Motorik!, host incredible, curated events - and with a 24-hour license, our patrons enjoy some epic, non-stop parties.
For a more relaxed atmosphere, our patrons venture upstairs to Rooftop, a playful, late-night setting overlooking the Chippendale skyline with an eclectic mix of DJs on high rotation throughout the week. Inspired by the iconic Palazzo Chupi ‘pink house’ in New York, this inner-Sydney cocktail bar is about dancing on the tables late into the night (and through to the early morning).
Alternatively, our patrons head into the adjoining terraces, for Chippendale's (very) late-night wine bar and shop, Lil Sis. Inspired by the charming ‘cave à vins’ found in the neighbourhoods of Paris. The wines span old to new world, natural and biodynamic through to the more traditional. But there’s no pomp and pretension about the place, just a refreshingly simple drinks menu and friendly staff.
Role:
As a Duty Manager, you’ll be a motivational people leader, who loves creating a stellar service to locals and patrons. Hospo is a passion, from managing late night entertainment venues to pouring the best craft brews at the bar with the crew and building relationships with locals. You are passionate about good food and love creating the perfect atmosphere, guaranteeing patrons experience the best, every time.
Your role will involve all of the venue essentials including assisting with the day to day running of the shift, opening and closing the venue, banking, training and developing the team and assisting patrons. Motivating, inspiring and training your team will be at the forefront and ensuring the patron experience is paramount.

1-2 years Duty Manager/Supervisor experience within late night venues will be essential in hitting the ground running.
