Why ARCG Matters:
With gaming reforms mandated by the NSW Government, it's essential for licensed venues with more than 20 gaming machines to have a Responsible Gambling Officer (RGO) on duty during machine operations. To meet these requirements and excel in your role, ARCG certification is crucial.
Course Highlights:
The ARCG course covers a range of essential topics, including:
- Anticipating and managing high-intensity situations using advanced interpersonal skills.
- Effective management of situations involving distressed patrons and concerned family members.
- Fostering a culture of proactive gambling harm minimization.
- Practical application of responsible conduct of gambling principles.
Training Details:
Duration: 6 hours of mandatory face-to-face training.
Location: CMNL Academy, lower-level Canterbury-Hurlstone Park RSL Club.
Cost: $350 per person, with discounts available for groups of 5-9 ($320pp) and 10-20 ($300pp).

Requirements: Attendees must hold a current Standard RCG competency, bring photo identification, and wear comfortable clothing with flat, enclosed shoes.
Certification and Updates:
Upon successful completion of the ARCG course, attendees' Competency cards will be automatically updated if held electronically through the NSW App. Competency cards can also be replaced online via Service NSW for a fee.
