We’ve partnered with Penfolds to celebrate the launch of The Penfolds Collection 2018 so you can come in and taste the collection for yourself, including the flagship 2014 Grange from 19 - 25 October.
Working closely with Scott Huggins from Magill Estate Restaurant in the Barossa, our Executive Chef, Cory Campbell has created the Grange Steak Sandwich.
Cory’s inspiration behind the Steak Sandwich was to showcase two great Australian icons side-by-side. Australia’s most famed wine and a dish that everyone in Australia grew up eating, steak sandwich. It’s a classic combination – a beautiful piece of Mayura Station Wagyu beef, sourced from Millicent in South Australia, paired with a delicious, bold Shiraz.
The limited edition Grange Sandwich and 2014 Grange will be available for $120 at Smoke.
At Bea, there will be two limited edition wine flights to allow you to sample a variety of the Penfolds acclaimed white and red wines. The first wine flight includes a glass of 2017 Bin 311 Chardonnay and 2016 Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz and the second wine flight also includes a taste of Bin 311 and Bin 389 which sit proudly alongside a glass of 2014 Grange.
